Just a Number - FFVII:CC

This came out a lot prettier in my head. Feh.

This is roughly like a visual timeline for Trial By Fire; it would've had a couple more panels to drag it into Welcome Home, too, but a) my hand is tired, b) it would've taken longer and I'm impatient and c) it could've given away some predictable plot points. So, it stops where it does, in a nice little just-pre-Crisis-Core spot.

Since the FF wiki says nothing about Lazard's specific age, other than he's been quickly promoted in his career, I've taken it upon myself to imagine that while that's still true, he's a tad bit more mature than his SOLDIERs. I figure that at CC's start, he's 32 or 33. Not old by any stretch, but neither would that make him some super-smart teenager that most definitely would've garnered closer attention from his father.

This theory would place him about eight years older than Sephiroth. But ultimately, there comes a time when the numbers just don't matter any more.
